By accessing or using HalaSouq, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. HalaSouq is a peer-to-peer marketplace operating in the United Arab Emirates.
2. User Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Accounts are personal and non-transferable.
3. Listings and Transactions
Sellers are responsible for the accuracy of their listings. HalaSouq acts as an intermediary and is not party to transactions between buyers and sellers. All transactions are subject to UAE consumer protection laws.
4. Prohibited Items
The following are prohibited on HalaSouq: illegal items, counterfeit goods, weapons, controlled substances, and any items prohibited under UAE law.
5. Platform Fees
HalaSouq charges a commission on completed transactions. Fee rates vary by subscription plan and are displayed transparently before each transaction.
6. Dispute Resolution
HalaSouq provides a dispute resolution service for transactions made through the platform. Disputes must be raised within 48 hours of receiving an item. Our team will mediate and issue a binding decision within 2 business days.
7. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of UAE courts.
